Biography
Jenna Land is a sophomore from Rockville, Maryland studying Psychology at the University of Maryland. While passionate about her love for art, her professional interests include two fields that involve working to help others, specifically children- psychology and pediatric nursing. After years of personal experience in both fields as well as working as a camp counselor for six summers, it was evident that her kind and outgoing personality had to be integrated into a future profession. After graduating from the University of Maryland in May of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Jenna will move on to obtain her BSN at the Universities at Shady Grove. Through a nursing career with a bachelor in psychology, Jenna will not only thrive but impact the lives of others while doing so.
Jenna intends to maximize the rest of her time as a College Park Arts Scholar by incorporating her interests into her research. Throughout her Capstone project, she will explore ways to incorporate the field of psychology, as well as creative expression, into a nursing career. Prior to graduation, Jenna will become involved in educational opportunities to the fullest extent possible as a student majoring in psychology.
